Clutch Boise Concert reviews
Great bands, great sound, great venue. Great R&R show!
This was a fantastic event from start to finish. We hadn't planned on getting there for Nate Bergman, but were certainly glad we did. I wasn't aware that he was with Lionize, but had seen them once before and was impressed. Nate with his band blew all 4 of us away. The Sword was similarly impressive. I was a casual fan, and really wanted to see them, and they didn't disappoint, as they were totally on point! Finally, Clutch was just plain phenomenal. Great setlist. The energy that Scorpio brings the the microphone is definitely contagious. His command of the music, and therefore the audience, is second to none. Aries on lead guitar, although not real active on the stage, is incredibly active on the strings and one of the best players out there on the road. Pisces on bass combined with Gemini on drums form one of the best rhythm sections in Rock and Roll. Period. Finally, if you made it to here, the sound production from each of the engineering teams was spot on. It was loud without being too loud, and from each band you could actually hear each instrument without one drowning out the other. Quite frankly, this was the best "sounding" concert from start to finish that I have been to for a long, long time.
